Heir briefing
A calm walkthrough with the people who will open the binder later—so labels, keys, and custodian contacts make sense before anyone needs them in a hurry.
- Duration
- 60–90 minutes
- Format
- In-person preferred; remote when heirs live abroad
- Location
- Kwai Fong or arranged private room
- Pricing
- HK$1,900 per briefing (up to three heirs)
- For
- Named heirs and the binder owner, once an inventory binder exists
Why brief heirs early
A binder that only the owner understands fails the moment it is needed. This session walks heirs through the index structure: wallet nicknames, which custodian to call, which envelope is not the phrase, and what to do if a location no longer exists.
Ground rules we keep
- Seed phrases are not read aloud or displayed
- Heirs may ask clarifying questions about places and people, not about phrase contents
- You decide how much estate context to share beyond the binder’s scope
Outcome
Heirs leave knowing how to open the binder, whom to contact for each location card, and which steps require a solicitor. Owners leave knowing whether the index language was clear—or needs a refresh visit.
